Berlin, April 19, 2022 EAMD European AeroMarine Drones AG has entered into an exclusive
cooperation agreement with aircraft manufacturer RS.aero GmbH. This far-reaching
cooperation covers the development and production of the EAMD Whisper work drone with
hybrid propulsion. “With this contract, we are enabling the production of a first stage of this
type in Germany,” explains Ulrich T. Grabowski, spokesman for the Executive Board of EAMD
European AeroMarine Drones AG. “The EAMD Whisper will be used predominantly for
regional surveillance as well as in military applications in unmanned operations.”
EAMD European AeroMarine Drones AG is a provider of an innovative, sustainable aviation
concept with the goal of replacing conventional propulsion solutions in aircraft technology with
hybrid technology at lower costs. “The EAMD Whisper prototype will be completed as early as
the fourth quarter of 2022,” Grabowski says. “The total order volume is around 30 million euros
and includes the development as well as the production of five machines for unmanned military
applications including ground stations in 2024.”
“It is our goal to bring hybrid solutions with absolutely new developments to the market for
today’s existing as well as new application areas in security, infrastructure and environment in
both military and civil aviation,” Grabowski said. “With this cooperation agreement, we have
reached an important milestone here.”
